The Role
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our growing sales team at GreenGenUK. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work at the forefront of the renewable energy sector, helping customers transition to more sustainable and cost-effective energy solutions.
The primary focus of this position is to develop bespoke proposals for Solar PV, battery storage, and heat pump technologies. Each project begins with a comprehensive site survey, followed by the design of tailored solutions that enable customers to reduce energy consumption, lower costs, and minimise their carbon footprint.
While experience in renewable technologies is an advantage, it is not essential. If you are motivated, personable, and have a strong sales approach, we can provide full training on our products and systems. A positive attitude and the ability to build trust with customers are key to success in this role.
Responsibilities:.
Sales Exhibitions: Attend events to engage prospects, build relationships, and promote renewable energy solutions.
Customer Queries: Respond to enquiries, provide clear information, and support customers throughout their journey.
Sales Negotiation: Learn to handle objections, agree terms, and close deals while delivering value to customers.
Proposal Development: Work with existing sales staff and learn how to produce proposals for solar PV, battery, and heat pump technologies.
Data Analysis & System Design: Analyse survey data to design energy-efficient solutions for customers.
Customer Presentations: Learn how to present various options to customers, highlighting potential financial and carbon savings.
Ongoing Training & Development: Continuously update knowledge through internal training and external industry courses.

Extra Credit:
Previous Sales Experience: Beneficial but not essential—seeking candidates with strong sales attributes, with experience considered an advantage.
Construction & Renewables Exposure: Understanding of construction, renewables, or broader trade-based environments
